We have all seen it: pandas sitting in trees, chewing on long stalks of bamboo, carefree and happy. But Bamboo is fast becoming the eco-friendly alternative to many every day products. Yes, you read that correctly. Grass! Bamboo is a grass, and a renewal resource. Bamboo is normally used for landscaping, to make a backyard more attractive and appealing to the homeowners. Weird dream - Am i sick in the head? Ok, i head this strange dream that i was running through the woods, in broad daylight, and i was chasing a little girl, we came to a muddy embankment, she climbed up it with ease, but i seemed to remember chasing a different girl up a simmilar, but not identical slope, and failing, but with this one, i got to the top, the girl was trapped, there was a fence behind her, and on her right, there was something that looked like green bamboo, and a big tree on her left. Now that i knew she was trapped, i moved slowly, to scare her more, she was absolutly terrorfied, and i felt really good scaring her like this. Why was i dreaming this? Am i sick or something? Note: There was nothing sexual in this dream

Not necessarily. Dreams often communicate feelings. The pictures that accompany dreams can be and are at times just that, pictures, not reality. I suggest that at some point, or many points, in your childhood, you were baddly scared, scared to the extent that your dream is communicating this troubling image. Your subconscious is communicating a feeling you had but not the actual situation because as a child, a very young child, you could not remember the precise events. Kids don't interrupt or remember events like adults do. So your subconscious interrupts the feelings you are having with your dream or accompanying dream in an effort to remember and understand the events which lead to these feelings. I once awoke in the morning and was feeling like I killed someone and buried them in the backyard. It was a bad feeling, with heavy guilt and shame. But I also remembered as I woke up that I had never killed anyone, really. So it was a dream. With bamboo's increase in popularity in western culture it's little wonder,given it's versatile nature, that the fashion industry has jumped on the bamboo bandwagon. Gucci recently included bamboo amongst it's line with products such as clutch bags and sandals carrying it's name. More and more fashion designers are using bamboo to manufacture shoes, handbags or jewelry. One of the big attractions with bamboo fiber is it's comfortable nature and it's easy feel. Bamboo enthusiasts will tell you it's very easy to wear and this enthusiasm is spreading by the day among consumers. The potential for bamboo fashion is enormous. It's been described as having a similar finish and feel to silk. With that, the possibilities are endless. What about bamboo accesories? Well, accessories are just a natural follow on to main fashion wear. Hats and bags to match dressess, skirts, t-shirts and the like along with a range of jewelry accessories and the outfit is bamboo complete. Further good news is bamboo clothing is extremely soft, breathes extra well and is machine washable. That's just perfect in western society. With continuing concerns over our environment it was just natural manufacturers, looking to earn environmental "brownie points," would be targetting a product that promoted the qualities natural earth watchers spruiked. Bamboo was the perfect subject choice because of it's versatile nature and while our eastern neighbors have been harnessing the all round abilities of this plant since ancient times, the west has "cottoned on" and is embarking on a bamboo crusade of it's own.
