Bamboo Wood Chime

What is the purpose of wind chimes and does it make a difference if they are made of wood or metal?

I have two sets of wind chimes, one made with bamboo and one made with what looks like aluminium. Both make a totally different sound from each other, both lovely.

I LOVE the sound of wind chimes. I have a couple and find the sounds very soothing. Personally, I really don't care if it pisses my neighbors off. It's not for them, it's for meeeee! So, sit back, wait for a breezy day and enjoy!
